A. For placement of Final Year Students and Immediate Pass out Students:
The invitation for the recruitment of diploma final year engineering students containing the relevant information is sent to the industries /companies through email.
1.The industry is requested to provide following information to the institute regarding placement /recruitment of the students in the Final Year of Diploma Engineering.
i. Brief details of the company area / domain of work
ii. Designation, Durations and Compensation (CTC and in-hand salary details) during Training, Probation and after confirmation.
iii.Job profile and growth prospects.
iv. Details of Additional Facilities such as transportation, canteen and support for higher education
v. Eligibility Conditions - Branch of Diploma, % of Marks , live or history kt, age etc.
vi. Details of selection process - Aptitude test, Group Discussion, Interview etc
The above details are made available to the students on a Placement Notice board (whatsapp group) and the department placement coordinator will get the data of interested students and submit the updated standard data in the Excel sheet. The same will be shared with the industry for further processing of recruitment drive. Resumes of the interested students (if required) are made available to the companies . The company/organization is required to declare the final list of selected students as soon as possible after the final completion of the procedure to avoid overlapping. The selected students may not be allowed to sit/appear in further job interviews as per the placement policy of the institute. The industries are requested to share the details of selected students to the TPO cell ( gpptpo@rediffmail.com ) for record purposes. The company may also, if interested, conduct selections for summer internships of the pre final year students.
B. For placement of Alumni
The industries are requested to send a write-up / notice for such students containing information as mentioned above in A-1 along with the contact details of the contact persons, so that students can send resumes directly to the industry.
The industries may invite the interested students for the recruitment process on their campus or the students can be interviewed in online mode, as per the convenience / policy of the industry. The industries are requested to share the details of such selected students of previous batches to the TPO cell ( gpptpo@rediffmail.com ) for record purpose.
