Industrial /In-plant training of six weeks’ duration is mandatory for all the students admitted in I scheme based on curriculum framed on the philosophy of Outcome Based Education (OBE) of all the diploma programmes offered in the institute.
1.The students are allocated a departmental mentor teacher to guide them during the six weeks.
2.The students would normally be placed as per their choices and the student has to provide the requisite details to the respective mentor teacher, which will be approved by MSBTE.
3. The necessary request letter for the industry from the institute is provided to the student.
4. Principal/HOD/Faculty should address students about industrial safety norms, rules and discipline to be maintained in the Industry / Organization during the training before relieving students for training.
5.The industry is expected to provide an industry mentor for the student/s undertaking the in-plant training.
6. The faculty member during the industrial training will check the progress of the student in the training, his /her attendance, discipline and project report preparation.
7.The students are expected to maintain a weekly diary of the activities done and get it signedby an industry mentor .
8.The students need to submit a report of the training to the mentor teacher, which may also be certified by the concerned industry mentor.
9.The progressive assessment and evaluation of the end semester exam of industrial training of the students is completed immediately after the completion of the training by the mentor teacher, industry mentor and industry personnel.
